The scarf was unintentionally made to be about 5 ft long, and I ended up selling it on my Etsy site anyway. It was made with a size J hook and didn't really take me long at all.

I'm crocheting a rainbow scarf now and I was wondering how tassels would look. Now I know the are perfect!
I'm using a size H hook, 2 rows of each color double crochet, 6 feet long, and a mix of Caron Simply Soft and Red Heart yarn.
I just want to pick up your scarf and snuggle with it. Looks super soft!

Noveldove, pick the first color you want to use and chain 250 (depending on the length of the scarf.) Double crochet length of row and then when you start new row you can continue with the same color or change colors.

I love your scarf! I am just learning. If you don't mind me asking, what size yarn did you use for this!

Caron Simply Soft is a great choice because it's soft and inexpensive (around $3.50 a skein.) And the colors fit well for this project.

Thanks! And I just used regular worsted weight yarn with a size K hook I believe.
